Opening originally in March of 2006, and re-opening after a fire in January of 2007, Over Easy Café took off running. Fueled by a creative menu, a love of food, and neighborhood support, Over Easy has become a smashing success – with cheerful ambiance, pin-point consistency, and unpretentious originality, it is indeed a ‘breakfast of champions.”

Don’t miss the Sassy Eggs, the El Gordito’s Corn Cakes, the Nueva Mexicana Omelet, the Banana Spiked French Toast, the Candy Apple French toast, and Blueberry Crunch Pancakes, but we also offer specials that change on a weekly basis. The Breakfast Sandwich, Special French Toast, and Special Scramble are always tempting and inventive, as well as our Benedict and Mexican Specials, which are only available on Sunday, and also change every week. And while breakfast and brunch may take center stage, we offer a wide variety of tempting lunch items, such as the spicy Red Chile Chicken Torta, the mighty Muffaletta, or the Easy Burger (fresh ground in-house), available Tuesdays through Saturdays.

From owners Jon Cignarale and Gwyneth Nordine (partners in business and life): In January 2017 we celebrated our ten year anniversary at Over Easy, and thanks to dogged commitment, hard work, and persistent vigilance in our attention to detail (for every facet of the operation), Over Easy has become something so much greater than we ever imagined. We’ve found inspiration in so many places, and have cemented our style, while always challenging ourselves to go beyond. While favorites like the Sassy Eggs keep regulars coming back for more, our ever-changing specials have kept us motivated to strive for excellence and creativity. The ability to provide crave-able food (seriously – the Sassy Eggs are a Sirens’ Call), and still stoke the fires of our creativity is truly a joy. We’ve seen the neighborhood grow around us, and we’re so honored to have been a part of that process – Over Easy wouldn’t be the same without Ravenswood. Thirteen years and counting, it’s been a difficult journey at times, but so very rewarding – we wouldn’t have it any other way.
